Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 2026
By installing and using the TrapGuard Chrome Extension, you agree to the following terms.
1. Not Financial Advice (Crucial Disclaimer)
TrapGuard is a mathematical analysis tool designed to read public order book data. It is NOT financial, investment, or betting advice.
- Prediction markets and cryptocurrencies involve a high degree of risk.
- The "Slippage Shield" and "Hype Meter" are estimates based on current API snapshots. Order books can change in milliseconds.
- You are solely responsible for your own trades, bets, and financial decisions. The developer of TrapGuard is not liable for any financial losses incurred while using this tool.
2. API Reliability
TrapGuard relies on third-party public APIs provided by Polymarket (Gamma API and CLOB API). We do not control these APIs. If Polymarket's servers are down, rate-limited, or return malformed data, TrapGuard may display an "Analysis Failed" or fallback state. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or accuracy of third-party data feeds.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use TrapGuard only for its intended purpose: analyzing market liquidity and slippage on supported platforms. You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or use the Extension to scrape data for commercial botting or market manipulation.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Extension is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall the developers be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.
5. Open Source & Modifications
TrapGuard is an independent project and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Polymarket. All trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.
